About the Role
As an Operations Project Manager, you’ll own the execution and continuous improvement of day-to-day operational processes for a complex software portfolio on our Nightshift Account. You’ll drive operational efficiency, standardize workflows, manage deliverables, and ensure teams have the systems, data, and alignment required to plan, deliver, and support software projects at scale.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily and weekly operational processes; track progress, ensure deliverables are met, escalate blockers to leadership
- Map, optimize, and standardize workflows across software delivery, QA, release management, and customer support
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Customer Success, Finance, and Business Operations to ensure seamless execution
- Design, implement, and enforce SOPs for project delivery, resource planning, and vendor management
- Manage resource plans, capacity tracking, and allocation across teams to meet project and operational goals
- Maintain operational dashboards; define and track KPIs; report on progress, bottlenecks, and efficiency metrics
- Administer and optimize collaboration and PM tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, ClickUp, Notion) for transparency and accountability
- Identify gaps in communication, reporting, and handoffs; drive measurable, continuous improvements
- Support budgeting, vendor oversight, and spend analysis for ongoing initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
About You
Qualifications & Skills
- 4–7 years of relevant operations or project management experience in a software/tech environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and optimizing operational workflows and SOPs
- Strong understanding of Agile/Lean principles and end-to-end software delivery cycles
- Proficient with project and collaboration platforms (Jira, Confluence, Notion, Asana; ClickUp a plus)
- Comfortable with data analysis and reporting (Excel, Google Sheets, BI dashboards); KPI design and tracking
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on, day-to-day execution; thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
