About the Role
As part of the Data and Reporting team you will be responsible for executing on the vision for data and reporting insights and capabilities that interface between business and IT Data Engineering and Reporting teams. The goal is to drive transformational data and analytics initiatives that will be used to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales business function.
Being able to manage the end to end delivery of large to small scale projects within data and reporting areas is key. You will need to work with leadership and stakeholders to help with strategic initiatives. A good resource will be someone that can provide strong presentation skills and executive presence, being able to ask the why’s to requirements, being able to communicate why you can or can’t do something and figuring out how to find the things that are being asked. Being able to influence and work with IC’s and leadership to return actionable items will be key.
About You
The essentials:
- Strong business analysis skills - capturing and documenting requirements, understanding business impacts and tradeoffs, conducting interviews and workshops, proposing solutions, documentation and process mapping, etc.
- Experience with Sales/Finance reporting projects.
- Strong experience in delivering projects and managing programs while working with multiple teams and across multiple time zones.
- Hands-on experience working with BI platforms and tools such as Business Objects, Tableau, ThoughSpot or others.
- Strong data and BI analysis skills - detailed analysis of source systems, business requirements, KPI definitions and aggregations.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization and navigate effectively through communication and relationship building.
- Excellent understanding of business intelligence technologies, data architecture concepts and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of execution and accountability for the overall success of the program.
- Analytical and problem-solving experience, exposure to large-volume data systems
- This resources will need to have understanding and capabilities with SQL to be able to query data, create, analyze, create pivots, create joins to work more heavily with the data they are pulling.
- The team member will work with senior management and global teams to define data and reporting roadmaps to help data driven decision making.
Nice to Have:
- Ability to engage with business users to understand requirements and deliver tools analytics to support their needs as it pertains to AI/ML projects from conception to execution.
- Experience guiding technical teams on implementing ML solutions.
- Project managing several AI/ML platforms and solutions for the global sales organization.
