About the Role

This role supports a change management project to streamline HR operations, focusing on organising. The Junior HR Business Partner will provide critical administrative, auditing, and coordination support, while also leading on employee relations (ER) cases and applying employment law knowledge to ensure best practice and legal compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Audit and cleanse employee data across HRIS and shared folders to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Digitise and standardise HR documentation (contracts, letters, checklists) and ensure proper filing.
  • Maintain naming conventions, version control, and user access across shared drives and systems.
  • Track and manage key lifecycle events (e.g., onboarding, probation, contract changes, leavers).
  • Support updates to employee records and HR systems during onboarding and offboarding.
  • Lead onER cases such as advising managers and handling documentation in line with policy and UK employment law.
  • Prepare and issue formal documents (e.g., outcome letters, meeting invites) and take notes in ER meetings as needed.
  • Maintain legally compliant and audit-ready ER case files, tracking case progression and outcomes.
  • Conduct regular compliance checks (e.g., right-to-work, contract status, policy acknowledgment).
  • Ensure GDPR compliance and secure handling of confidential employee information.
  • Support implementation of a reorganised structures.
  • Map current vs. desired document workflows and contribute to streamlined, scalable solutions.
  • Prepare user-friendly process guides, training materials, and comms to support rollout and adoption.
  • Monitor project progress, log issues, and gather feedback from HR and business stakeholders.

About You

The essentials:

  • HRBP/HR Advisor experience in fast-paced, international/matrix environments
  • Knowledge of employment laws and ER case management
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
  • High discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive info
  • Experience using Workday HRIS
