About the Role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and building highly scalable, reusable React components and UI systems for leading enterprise clients. You’ll collaborate with a world-class team to deliver robust, performant web applications and advance modern frontend best practices in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize scalable, reusable React components and UI logic
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs, leveraging REST and GraphQL within a decoupled architecture
- Collaborate in architectural discussions, defining and elevating best practices for frontend systems
- Manage code with GitLab using GitLab Flow, ensuring clean branching and well-documented merge requests
- Participate in and improve CI/CD pipelines, contributing to automated testing and deployment
- Write high-quality unit tests to ensure codebase robustness and maintainability
- Work autonomously and proactively identify opportunities for code and process improvement
- Contribute to a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
- Other duties as assigned
About You
Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development, primarily with React
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
- Strong experience with Yarn, GitLab, and modern version control workflows
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes, automated testing pipelines, and deployment practices
- Solid foundation in unit testing using tools like Jest and Testing Library
- Ability to estimate, prioritize, and deliver work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to form and defend technical opinions
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience with performance optimization and debugging of large-scale React applications
- Familiarity with Webpack, Vite, or similar modern bundlers
- Exposure to micro frontends or component-driven architectures
- Comfortable working within distributed teams and providing/receiving constructive feedback
