 About the Role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with proven experience designing and automating multi-cloud environments across AWS and GCP.

This role will be responsible for building and maintaining the cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and identity and compliance integrations needed to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.

The ideal candidate is an experienced DevOps professional with deep expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, Bazel, and AWS Cognito, capable of bridging gaps between development and operations teams while working in a multi-cloud (AWS/GCP) environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage automated infrastructure across AWS and GCP using Terraform.
  • Deploy and manage containerized workloads in Kubernetes (EKS/GKE).
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Bazel and modern DevOps tooling.
  • Implement and manage authentication and authorization systems using AWS Cognito and federated identity providers (e.g., Auth0, Okta).
  • Support development teams in infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and environment configuration.
  • Drive production readiness initiatives, ensuring smooth deployments, push notification infrastructure, and release management.
  • Enforce compliance and security standards aligned with SOC 2 and FINRA requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify automation opportunities, streamline development workflows, and reduce deployment risk.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) and Terraform.
  • Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline automation, especially with Bazel.
  • Experience implementing authentication/authorization with AWS Cognito.
  • Proficiency in AWS and GCP environments (networking, IAM, serverless).
  • Solid scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or Go).
  • Experience operating in regulated environments (SOC 2, FINRA, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with both technical and product stakeholders.

 Nice to Have

  •  Experience integrating Lambda, API Gateway, or Cloud Functions for serverless architectures.
  • Familiarity with NATS, gRPC, or other event-driven components.
  • Cloud certifications such as:
    • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
    • Google Professional Cloud Architect
    • AWS Solutions Architect – Professional
  • Familiarity with hybrid application workflows (e.g., Capacitor-based deployments).
