Mid-Level Graphic Producer
As a Mid-Level Graphic Producer focused on print production, you will be the linchpin connecting creative concepts to tangible campaign materials. You will manage the entire print production lifecycle, ensuring all printed assets—from billboards to brochures—are delivered with impeccable quality, on time, and within budget, translating creative visions into high-impact, physical reality.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Own the end-to-end production schedule for all printed campaign materials, coordinating deadlines across creative, client, and vendor teams.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous pre-press checks and review proofs to guarantee color accuracy, resolution, and format consistency across all final printed pieces.
- Vendor Management: Source, negotiate with, and maintain relationships with a network of high-quality print vendors, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to strict quality standards.
- Technical Consultation: Serve as the internal expert on print specifications, advising designers on best practices for formats, paper stocks, finishes, and file preparation to achieve optimal results.
- Budget Oversight: Track and manage production costs for print projects, providing estimates and reconciling final invoices to stay within approved campaign budgets.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve technical or logistical challenges during production to prevent delays and maintain the integrity of the creative concept.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in graphic production, print management, or a related role, with a strong focus on high-volume campaign materials.
- Expert-level knowledge of pre-press production, file preparation (PDF/X standards), color management (CMYK, spot colors), and various printing techniques (offset, digital, large format).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with industry-standard software, including the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) from a technical/file preparation perspective.
- Strong negotiating and relationship-building skills with a track record of successfully managing external print vendors.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering flawless, high-quality physical output.
