About the Role

As a Front End Developer (React), you’ll help lead the architectural migration of high-visibility marketing pages for a major global technology client, moving from a legacy static environment to a modern, scalable React-based platform with server-side rendering. You’ll partner closely with design and engineering leaders to deliver data-driven, atomic UI components powered by a headless CMS.

This is a remote opportunity based in Colombia

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain a shared library of atomic, composable UI components using React and TypeScript
  • Implement server-side rendered front-end experiences using modern frameworks (e.g., Next.js, Remix)
  • Integrate front-end components with a proprietary headless CMS by consuming structured JSON data from APIs
  • Work with JSON schemas to validate data structures and ensure data integrity across components and pages
  • Lead the migration of existing legacy static pages to a new data-driven, React-based architecture
  • Implement responsive, accessible, and SEO-friendly interfaces across all viewports
  • Ensure strict adherence to WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and technical SEO requirements
  • Collaborate closely with designers (Figma/Sketch) to translate visual designs into pixel-perfect implementations
  • Partner with QA to triage and resolve defects within agreed SLAs
  • Develop and maintain Storybook documentation for components, including usage guidelines and variants
  • Manage component package publishing and versioning via NPM/Artifactory or similar workflows
  • Write and maintain robust unit tests using tools such as Jest and React Testing Library
  • Participate in code reviews and Git-based workflows to maintain code quality and consistency
  • Other duties as assigned

About You

Qualifications & Skills

  • 4+ years of professional front-end development experience, with a strong focus on React
  • Advanced proficiency in React (hooks, custom hooks, component lifecycles) and TypeScript (strong typing, interfaces)
  • Proven production experience with server-side rendering frameworks (e.g., Next.js, Remix)
  • Deep experience with utility-first CSS (e.g., Tailwind) and/or CSS Modules for modular, conflict-free styling
  • Hands-on experience integrating with headless CMS platforms (e.g., Strapi, Contentful, Sanity)
  • Strong understanding of consuming and validating JSON schemas and working with structured content APIs
  • Demonstrated ability to build accessible interfaces aligned to WCAG 2.1 AA standards
  • Solid experience translating high-fidelity designs from Figma/Sketch into pixel-perfect UI
  • Experience creating and maintaining component documentation using Storybook
  • Proficiency with Git-based workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews)
  • Experience writing and maintaining unit tests with Jest and React Testing Library
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality, performance, and maintainability
  • Effective communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • A B2+ English level is required

Nice to Have

  • Experience with performance engineering in React (profiling, rendering optimization, bundle splitting)
  • Hands-on experience implementing technical SEO best practices
