Now, about the opportunity for Sr. Accountant:
Responsibilities:
- Verifies and reviews details (both sending and receiving) of intercompany requests received
- Determines appropriate Intercompany accounting details (e.g. GL accounts, Cost Objects, Transaction Type, Tax Code, etc.)
- Recording financial transactions between different legal entities within the same parent company.
- Posts Intercompany journal entries on both sides
- Reconcile intercompany balances
- Perform currency revaluation for all entities
- Communicate with regional team for any reconciling item
- Ensures timely expense recognition (on both sides) for year-end Intercompany related accruals
- Collaborates with International teams to ensure consistent practical application of accounting policy across the enterprise.
- Ability to evaluate transactions based on accounting policy
What are we looking for:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
- 3+ years accounting experience preferred.
- QuickBooks and Netsuite experience preferred.
- Experience in handling international subsidiaries.
- Strong Excel skills is a must.
- Upper English communication skills is a must (both written and spoken).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excel in analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to rapidly-changing environments.
