Job Description

As a Senior Media Strategy Specialist, you will be the strategic lead and financial steward for a market leader in Retail and Real Estate. You will play a dual role: architecting holistic media strategies that bridge the gap between digital innovation and traditional physical presence, while maintaining absolute control over the account's financial health and billing cycles.

In this role, you will lead a specialized "Media Pod," mentoring a Senior Offline Planner to ensure that every campaign is executed with precision. You will be responsible for negotiating and optimizing all digital media rates from our side, while strategically applying the pre-negotiated offline rates provided by the client. You are not just a planner; you are a consultant who ensures that the client’s physical foot traffic and digital engagement metrics move in perfect harmony.

Key Responsibilities

Integrated Strategy & Leadership

  • Holistic Media Architecture: Develop 360° media strategies (On & Off) tailored to retail commercial cycles, ensuring a seamless user journey from digital awareness to physical store visits.
  • Digital Media Negotiation: Lead the negotiation with digital platforms and partners to secure competitive rates and first-to-market opportunities for the client.
  • Pod Leadership: Supervise and mentor the Senior Offline Media Planner, ensuring the tactical quality and technical audit of all traditional media executions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary bridge between Creative, Data, and Client teams to ensure media plans are integrated and innovative.

Financial Stewardship & Billing Management

  • End-to-End Billing Ownership: Lead the billing and reconciliation process. You are responsible for ensuring that all planned investments (negotiated digital rates + pre-agreed offline rates) match the platform costs and vendor invoices.
  • Budget Governance: Oversee investment flow and pacing, ensuring zero overspend and maximum efficiency across the entire media mix (Digital, TV, OOH, Radio).
  • Audit Oversight: Coordinate the auditing of media certifications and broadcast logs, ensuring the client receives the exact value negotiated in their respective contracts.

Measurement & Intelligence

  • Full-Funnel Reporting: Oversee the organization of reporting and insights, "telling the story" of how On and Off channels contribute to the client’s business KPIs.
  • Tech Stack Management: Supervise the implementation of the Google Universe (DV360, GA4, CM360) and traditional tools (IBOPE, TGI) to derive high-level optimizations.
  • Innovation: Proactively recommend tests and new platform opportunities (e.g., Programmatic OOH, Retail Media) to improve the overall impact of campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years in integrated media strategy (Digital & Offline).
  • Financial Acumen: Proven experience in budget control, billing processes, and financial reconciliation is mandatory.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong track record in negotiating digital media rates and managing vendor relationships.
  • Technical Mastery: Expert knowledge of the digital landscape (Meta, Google Ads, DV360, GA4) and traditional media tools (Kantar IBOPE Instar/Monitor, TGI).
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to build complex full-funnel media plans combining different rate structures.
  • Leadership: Track record of managing or mentoring media team members.
  • Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail regarding tracking structures, billing codes, and campaign QA.
