About the Role

Are you ready to join the ranks of the world's most exciting brands? Monks is actively seeking a highly ambitious Program Director who is responsible for leading the successful delivery of Transformation programs across the EMEA region. This role ensures that complex workstreams are executed effectively, balancing quality, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced agency environment.

With a strong foundation in project and program management, you will translate strategic direction into clear execution plans and oversee delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives. You will act as the central point of coordination across disciplines, ensuring alignment between creative, strategy, production, and technology teams.

You'll collaborate closely with our talented in-house team of creatives, technologists, and business Monks, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality digital solutions for global brands. Additionally, you'll play an integral role in our client teams, strategizing for long-term success in serving our clients.

Responsibilities:

Delivery Leadership & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-channel marketing and content programs across clients and regions.
  • Establish clear workflows, milestones, and governance structures to support delivery efficiency.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring delivery is on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for delivery challenges, proactively resolving issues to maintain momentum.
  • Ensure consistent execution quality across all deliverables and touchpoints.

AI & Innovation in Delivery

  • Support the integration of AI-enabled tools and workflows into delivery.
  • Identify opportunities where AI can improve efficiency, speed, or quality of execution.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement practical, scalable AI solutions within ongoing programs.
  • Stay informed on emerging AI capabilities and assess their relevance to delivery operations.

Account Health & Financial Oversight

  • Monitor and manage program budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
  • Ensure delivery aligns with agreed commercial parameters and supports account profitability.
  • Maintain strong awareness of account health, identifying risks and opportunities proactively.
  • Partner with account and finance teams to ensure accurate scoping, tracking, and reporting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with creative, strategy, production, and technology teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Align stakeholders across disciplines and regions, ensuring clarity on roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams, acting as a trusted delivery partner.
  • Support collaboration across global teams while adapting to local market dynamics.

New Business & Growth Support

  • Contribute to pitches and proposals by providing realistic and executable delivery approaches.
  • Translate client requirements into clear delivery plans, timelines, and resource assumptions.
  • Support business development efforts by ensuring delivery feasibility and credibility.
  • Identify opportunities to expand scope or improve delivery efficiency within existing accounts.

About You

Essentials:

  • 10+ years of experience in project or program management within an agency, consultancy, or similar environment.
  • Strong track record managing complex digital transformation projects. Large CX or website replatforming programs is a plus.
  • Highly structured and detail-oriented, with strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with different (agile) delivery frameworks at scale
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and align senior stakeholders.
  • Commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets and supporting account health.
  • Interest in AI and emerging technologies, with a proactive mindset toward innovation in delivery.

Not a must, but a plus:

  • Experience working across global or multi-regional teams.
  • Background in content production, social, or integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity with workflow tools, production platforms, or marketing technology ecosystems.
  • Experience supporting new business pitches or go-to-market initiatives.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled or automation-driven workflows in a delivery context.
