As a Sr. Art Director, you will lead the creative vision for innovative digital campaigns and assets for one of the world's largest packaged goods companies. This role demands exceptional creative leadership to generate bold, strategic ideas while maintaining the technical expertise and hands-on capability to ensure flawless execution and delivery of high-quality assets across multiple platforms. Responsibilities:

  • Generate clear, bold, and strategic ideas and develop creative concepts for innovative digital campaigns across all platforms.
  • Lead the overall art direction, including the creation of style proposals, visual concepts, mockups, and prototypes to initiate new campaigns and projects.
  • Go above and beyond the original brief to push what’s possible on both a creative and technical level.
  • Translate complex creative briefs into actionable and thorough visual direction and design briefs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including marketing, strategy, and production) to ensure concepts meet client expectations and deliver against brand guidelines.
  • Maintain the capability to be hands-on when necessary, providing pixel-perfect execution and final asset delivery for designs, motion graphics, interactive assets for social media, and POS print media.
  • Stay informed about cultural and creative trends to ensure relevance and appeal, incorporating consumer insights into the creative process.
  • Elevate visual storytelling by skillfully combining aesthetics with functionality in all content.
  • Mentor and support junior creatives, providing clear direction and feedback to foster skill development within the team.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

About You

The essentials:

  • 8+ years of high-level experience as an Art Director developing concepts, pitches, and big ideas for brands in a digital or advertising environment.
  • Proven experience leveraging AI and automation technology in the creative workflow to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). After Effects is a bonus.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in conceptual development, art direction, and digital advertising materials.
  • Proven experience with all stages of the creative process, from conceptual development to final, hands-on execution.
  • Deep understanding of design fundamentals, typography, and visual storytelling, with an ability to apply them on both an aesthetic and functional level.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including comfort with presenting concepts to clients and team members.
  • Experience mentoring and providing constructive feedback to junior team members.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Expert knowledge of current social media trends and best practices for visual content.

 

Not a Must but a Plus:

  • Some basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML/CSS) is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of and experience in UX/UI is a bonus
