As a License Management Analyst, you are responsible for tracking, organizing, and optimizing software licenses across the organization. You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure compliance, cost-efficiency, and accurate software assignment. You would be part of a Global IT team focusing on improving software license tracking, supporting global alignment, and providing actionable reporting for strategic decision-making.
Technical Experience Needed for This Role:
- Advanced English proficiency – strong written and verbal communication skills for working with global stakeholders and vendors
- Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) tools – ability to manage and track software assets efficiently
- Basic understanding of licensing models – knowledge of different software license types (e.g., per-user, subscription, perpetual, cloud-based)
- Analytical skills – capable of interpreting license usage data and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Task organization and project coordination – able to manage renewal schedules, license assignments, and ongoing license reviews
- Experience coordinating with the Procurement team to track software renewal dates and contract timelines
- Understanding of software assignment processes across multiple platforms.
- Familiarity with vendor maintenance programs and SaaS/cloud licensing models.

Plusses:
- Experience working with more than one software asset management platform
- Familiarity with major software vendors (e.g., Microsoft, Adobe, Autodesk, Atlassian)
- Experience building reports or dashboards.
- Knowledge of internal controls and audit requirements related to software licensing.
