About the Role
As a Senior Production Designer, you will contribute to the technical execution and scaling of innovative digital ads and assets for one of the world's largest packaged goods companies. This role demands expertise in balancing efficiency, speed, precision, and scale to produce high-quality visual content that resonates across multiple platforms. We are looking for someone passionate about seeking new solutions to production challenges, contributing to an AI-forward team, and creating impactful work.
Responsibilities
- Run the technical execution, versioning, and rollout of design projects for products, features, and campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and production, to ensure designs meet client expectations and adhere to brand guidelines.
- Execute master creatives across various formats while providing innovative ideas and best practices to improve the design pipeline.
- Translate complex creative briefs into actionable and thorough production workflows.
- Ensure pixel-perfect execution of designs, maintaining quality and attention to detail at all times.
- Specialise in crafting and adapting interactive assets for social media and other digital channels, with best practices of each platform as a north star.
- Be capable of creating designs and precise technical setups for typical POS print media.
- Build and maintain robust templates, style guides, and asset libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Mentor and support junior designers, providing guidance and feedback to foster skill development within the team.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
About You
The Essentials
- 5+ years of experience as a Production Designer or similar role, ideally in a digital or advertising environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Figma and InDesign, as well as Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in digital production, asset adaptation, and advertising materials.
- Proven experience with the execution stages of the design process, from master asset handover to final delivery.
- Deep understanding of design fundamentals, including typography, grid systems, layout, and pre-press standards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for effectively collaborating with clients and team members.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project needs and priorities.
- Experience with creating print-ready files for POS in Indesign/Illustrator.
- Familiarity with current social media specs and best practices for visual content.
- Interest and borderline obsession with evolving AI and automation technology and functionality.
- The ability to guide and encourage younger design team members, oversee their work and provide constructive feedback.
Not a Must but a Plus
- Some basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML/CSS) is a bonus.
- Knowledge of and experience in UX/UI is a bonus.
- Experience with automated versioning tools or scripting to scale production workflows.
- Experience with generative or agentic AI tools.
