About the Role
In this role, you will support the Regional Sales, Sales Ops, and Business Process teams as they undergo a multi-year technology transformation journey, implementing Salesforce. This position will have a big focus on the enterprise route to market for Salesforce. We have 2 large portfolios of work coming over the next 1-2 years and need someone with some specific experience in that space.
This role will be critical in ensuring that the current and future regional sales processes are well understood and documented. As the team progresses in process harmonization and iterates towards a future state, you will be critical in ensuring that the specific regional requirements nuances are accounted for; that any critical regional business functions are supported in the future state process.
Additionally, you will make recommendations on how Salesforce can be best leveraged by the regional team – considering how the platform will weave into the existing team structure, operating model, business cadences, and more.
We’re looking for hands-on experience with enterprise sales teams, guiding them as they implement and learn to run their business on a new technology platform. This is the right fit for someone who loves to roll up their sleeves and execute the technology transformation work side-by-side with the sales ops and sales teams. Skills in stakeholder engagement, software implementation, and project management are a must.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the local business teams to quickly become functional expert in key channel sales/end-user sales processes and related solutions needs.
- Establish credibility as trusted advisor by understanding business requirements and providing options for consideration.
- Bring your hands-on expertise in enterprise sales technology solutions, making experience-informed recommendations on how to mature the business using the available tech stack
- As new business processes are agreed-upon, help drive them to execution, working with the change management team to integrate new ways of working into the business.
- The successful candidate will specialize in business stakeholder engagement and facilitation, asking probing questions that get to the real business needs (asking "why" and not just taking requirements at face value), encouraging open communication between all parties and building cooperation amongst the various business teams.
- Create current state and future state process maps for the regional team. These documents are used to support technical requirements identification, gap analysis and change management activities.
- Collaborate with regional business stakeholders, global management teams and colleagues across geographies as needed.
- Support change management and training needs by providing your understanding of the specific regional requirements and recommendations for a smooth transition into the future state.
- Participate periodically in technology testing (user acceptance testing), working with a team to ensure new features meet the business requirements
