The Environmental and Supply Chain Innovation team is looking to bring on a Product manager for at least a year to help with the modernization of an internal application that is used to collect environmental, labor and human rights data globally that the company needs and uses for regulator and compliance efforts. This product has been around for about 10+ years and is an external facing application that needs to be upgraded. This role will work to help define product plans around new features, enhancements and get the platform ready to be scaled as new groups within the organization want to come on board and use the application.
- User Research & Understanding: Plan, conduct, and analyze user interviews to understand user needs, pain points, and workflows. Translate user research findings into product requirements.
- Requirements Documentation:
- Review and analyze existing software documentation to understand current functionality and identify areas for improvement.
- Create detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain and update documentation as needed.
- Product strategy alignment:
- Exercise judgement to identify solutions that address many pain points with a simple approach that is aligned with overall product strategy.
- User Communication:
- Gather, analyze, and catalog user feedback from various channels (e.g., surveys, support tickets, user groups).
- Work with product owner to prioritize feedback
- Effectively communicate new feature plans, updates, and releases to users and stakeholders.
- Socialize new features and gather feedback through demos, presentations, and other channels.
- User Training & Enablement: Develop and deliver user training materials (e.g., documentation, videos, webinars).
- Create comprehensive training documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and tutorials.
Desired Experience: Proven experience working on software with many different stakeholders, large scale applications with multiple modules, at least 5+ years industry experience doing Product Management or Product Ownership (not project management)
