AI storytelling brought the invisible to life.

Google Fi provides a wireless service built for travel and seamless integration with the Google ecosystem. Despite these benefits, the brand needed a breakthrough way to capture attention in an industry dominated by legacy telecom companies. The central challenge lay in the nature of the product itself: how do you visualize “invisible” network benefits that consumers can’t see, but rely on every day?

“Spokesanimals” is a first-of-its-kind AI campaign to showcase the benefits of Google Fi. This relatable storytelling transformed how users perceive Google Fi, driving clear business growth.

Dissolving silos unified the entire process.

Behind the scenes, the production process established a new standard for how we bring ideas to market. By using AI to collapse traditional silos, we brought specialists across creative, media, data and engineering into a single, co-building environment. This collaborative process cut down on typical feedback and approval meetings—but more significantly, it enabled us to link insight-driven strategy with creative ideas.

This collaborative process enabled us to shift the media strategy from a narrow focus to a broad-scale offensive. Previously, limiting reach to the Google network resulted in diminishing returns on spend. By expanding into channels like TikTok, Meta, and YouTube, we paired our thumb-stopping AI creative with a much wider net. This strategy moved Google Fi into the consumer’s consideration set faster, reaching more people with memorable narratives that converted into the surges we saw in signups and activations.

AI workflows unlocked production at scale.

Our creative teams harnessed an end-to-end AI workflow, seamlessly integrating Google’s suite of tools—including Whisk and Veo3—into a single, limitless production pipeline. This unified approach made it possible to rapidly create and adapt to feedback in near real-time, navigating 15 distinct iterations with zero friction to ensure an on-time launch. 

By synchronizing visual exploration and high-quality video generation, we achieved the technical precision required for character consistency and AI lip-synching (or, in the case of our feathered friends, the far more daunting task of “beak-synching”). The resulting photorealistic spokesanimals were both expressive and believable across each narrative, proving that our integrated tech stack could deliver 50% faster than standard industry cycles.

Intelligence-led strategy eliminated the guesswork.

The creativity didn’t end there; within our unified team, we used Monks.Flow—our AI-powered ecosystem for marketing orchestration—to pressure-test content through real-time Q&A with simulated audiences. By moving beyond static demographics to capture true behaviors and motivations, we could rapidly identify and revise our way toward the most effective versions of assets. Matched market testing then quantified growth in the form of signups and activations that were directly attributable to the campaign. It also provided a clear view into how individual assets performed in real-world environments to drive measurable results. This workflow allowed us to refine and optimize with a level of foresight not available to traditional focus groups.
