About the Role

As an AP Lead, you’ll oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable function for a high-growth shared services environment, acting as the primary liaison across vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate accounting, policy and tax compliance, timely disbursements, and continual process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Accounts Payable team, ensuring balanced workload distribution
• Supervise invoice intake, validation, coding, and supplier reconciliation
• Ensure on-time payments in alignment with policies, controls, and cash flow priorities
• Review and approve AP reconciliations, aging reports, and monthly close deliverables
• Manage key vendor relationships; resolve billing disputes and discrepancies
• Monitor and report AP KPIs (aging, throughput, discounts captured, exceptions)
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, local tax regulations, and audit requirements
• Identify and execute process improvements; support automation and digitalization initiatives
• Partner with Treasury/Finance on cash flow projections and payment scheduling
• Report periodically to the Head of SS on AP status, risks, and improvement plans
• Other duties as assigned

About You

Qualifications & Skills

• 4–6 years of relevant AP experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and local tax regulations
• Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
• Intermediate to advanced English communication skills
• Leadership and team management capabilities
• Strong organization, planning, and attention to detail
• Analytical, results-oriented, and KPI-driven mindset
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Adaptability with a continuous improvement focus
