We are in search of a visionary Senior Creative Technologist AI to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. This role fuses artistic imagination with the latest AI advancements, crafting distinctive visual content and revolutionizing creative workflows. As part of our global AI transformation team, you'll play a pivotal role in fast-tracking AI production processes for our talented creators worldwide, with a special emphasis on Monks America's Studios. As a Senior Creative Technologist AI, you will be a vital force in shaping the future of digital experiences through the power of artificial intelligence. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ideate, prototype, and implement AI-driven solutions that push the boundaries of technology and creativity. Your expertise in AI, LLM, machine learning, and data-driven design will enable you to turn complex problems into innovative, intelligent applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES / PRIORITIES 

  • Innovation & Concept Development: Collaborate with creative and technical teams to ideate and prototype new digital experiences
  • Conceptualize, prototype and deliver creative applications of technologies in our digital and experiential projects.
  • You’ll help win new projects by developing creative treatments in response to client briefs and RFPs, developing creative solutions that are exciting and in keeping with the project’s goals, timings and budget.
  • You’ll visit clients to pitch for projects, participate in workshops, and woo people with your combination of creative thinking and technical know-how.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with designers, developers, and clients to translate creative ideas into functional, beautiful, and technically sound solutions.
  • Bridging the gap between our clients, our creatives and our developers by speaking the language of all three.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as the bridge between creative concepts and technical execution, providing insights on the feasibility and best technological approaches.
  • Problem Solving: Approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, finding creative ways to overcome technical and creative hurdles.
  • The role involves a lot of tinkering, tweaking and testing; doing original R&D and playing around with new technologies and APIs, and creating original prototypes that work as a proof of concept.
  • By figuring out the required technology and technical requirements, you usher creative projects to the development stage, liaising between creative and technical teams to make sure new projects work as advertised.
  • Thought leader: Lead creative on artificial intelligence in film, photo, animation, post production and other studio related projects
  • On another level, you help to think and plan for the future, feeling the pulse of the AI field to figure out what platforms and technologies we should invest in to stay on top of the game

 

RESPONSIBILITIES / DEEP DIVE

 

New business development

  • Support ongoing client pitches; pitches often enable various levels of R&D against actual client challenges which, these pitches help us define the in market need, challenges, into buyable & winning proposals that are pushing our craft towards transformation on every level of the creative execution flow. 
  • Pitch teams will have various discipline leads collaborating on workflow and R&D so that we represent the best of NOW. 

 

Research & Development

  • Prototyping & Experimentation: Rapidly prototype new ideas using a variety of tools and technologies, validating concepts through experimentation and iterative design.
  • Emerging Technology Exploration: Stay ahead of the curve by exploring and experimenting with new technologies, platforms, and trends, and bring these insights to the team to inspire future projects.
  • This role will push the creative craft and is responsible for creating and development of R&D projects that showcase high creative craft through AI enabled workflows. 
  • A good amount of Client R&D as well as Proactive RD will be part of the role; to manage an area of playing, testing, discovering, to see where we can create meaningful transformation in craft. 
  • This role collaborates with a wider studio transformation team to be enabled across various disciplines to be able to work fast with quick results. 
  • Code & Development: Write clean, efficient code as needed, contributing to the development of interactive features and dynamic web applications.

 

Pipeline Transformation – Monks.Flow Integration

  • Leads and supports discipline workflow transformation. We are set to transform every piece of production and are looking for artists that help support this transformation to ensure workflows are updated, tested and proven to be able to deliver on craft. 
  • Once landed on the updated workflows this role will support automation teams to ensure areas of process that can be transformed are transformed/integrated correctly into the existing Monks AI related workflows &  toolstacks 
  • Optimization of workflows: this role will ensure that net new tools that impact the discipline will get reviewed and tested proactively; as well as optimization updates are pushed for on the pipeline so that our workflows are always up to date in this fast moving landscape

 

Social Ambassador

  • Is comfortable representing our craft voice in our social media channels 
  • Leads net new R&D and has a weekly posting cadence into the new and unknown and forming vision and opinion on where the discipline is heading. 
  • Reviewing new tool stacks and features as part of the ongoing jobs and workflows 

 

Creative Craft Excellence

  • A leader in craft and excellence pushing the boundaries of making on a day to day, project to project. Ensuring that we activate creative workflows that are new and pushing transformation of craft into the “never been done before area” 
  • Has a proven track record in winning award per discipline 
  • Leads education internal and external; develops BTS and Educational case studies that allow us to share out with the larger organization to be able to bring awareness to the craft transformation this team is going through.
