As a Business Analyst within IT Enterprise Applications, you will play a critical role in owning the discovery and design phases of projects and operational initiatives. You will work directly with senior stakeholders across the business to identify pain points, define requirements, and establish clear success criteria for system implementations across enterprise applications.
You will act as the bridge between business and technical teams, translating complex functional needs into structured, actionable requirements. This role requires a strong ability to lead conversations, structure ambiguity, and drive alignment, while partnering closely with Project Managers to ensure effective delivery.
In This Role You Will
- Lead discovery and requirements definition
- Drive structured conversations with senior stakeholders to identify pain points, business needs, and opportunities for improvement.
- Challenge and refine requests to ensure clarity, feasibility, and alignment with business objectives.
- Own the solution design phase
- Define end-to-end functional solutions for projects and tickets, including workflows, process improvements, system integrations, and data migrations.
- Establish clear acceptance criteria for each piece of work delivered.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements
- Produce high-quality documentation (user stories, functional specs, acceptance criteria) that enables technical teams to execute effectively.
- Ensure requirements are complete, consistent, and implementation-ready.
- Build artifacts to support understanding and alignment
- Create process diagrams, workflows, and data models to visualize current and future states.
- Use data analysis to validate assumptions and support decision-making.
- Partner closely with delivery teams
- Work alongside Project Managers to scope initiatives, support prioritization, and ensure alignment throughout execution.
- Collaborate with technical teams to clarify requirements, manage dependencies, and support solution implementation.
- Ensure continuity between design and delivery
- Act as a point of reference during implementation to validate that solutions meet defined requirements and business outcomes.
- Support functional testing and validation
- Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria, execute or support functional testing (UAT), and ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements before release.
Experience You Already Have
- 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, ideally within IT or systems-focused environments.
- Proven experience leading stakeholder conversations independently, including with senior or non-technical audiences.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, solution design, and documentation for system implementations.
- Experience translating business needs into technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Hands-on experience building process diagrams (e.g., BPMN, flowcharts) and documenting workflows.
- Experience working with or implementing enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Oracle NetSuite, or Workday.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience working with data, reports, and metrics to support decisions.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal), with the ability to structure complex topics clearly.
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to operate with autonomy and ownership in ambiguous environments.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Structured thinking and attention to detail, with a focus on business outcomes over outputs.
- Comfortable balancing big-picture design with hands-on execution.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to drive conversations and decisions forward.
