About the Role

Measure.Monks, the marketing effectiveness division of Monks, is looking for a bright and personable Graduate Software Engineer with experience in Python/FastAPI and React, looking to develop their skills further to support the next phase of our product and software development roadmap and help drive the company towards continued double-digit growth. As a Graduate Software Engineer, your role will be to assist with the development and deployment of our internal and client-facing tools and systems and with the continued evolution of our core analytical approaches, ensuring that they remain market-leading and can plug seamlessly into wider group initiatives

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance our suite of client-facing tools and solutions
• Support our analyst teams to further automate their processes and workflows
• Contribute to our AI initiatives as we develop the agentic systems that will power the future of our industry
• Work with other development teams in our wider group to ensure that our solutions plug effortlessly into their platforms and systems

About You

The essentials:

• Proficient in Python, with experience in writing clean, maintainable code and building real applications. Exposure to core data science libraries (e.g., pandas, numpy) is a bonus
• Exposure to Typescript/React and a willingness to learn is highly valuable
• Interest in building client-facing web applications – either front-end, back-end or full-stack
• Exposure to working with relational databases such as MySQL or Postgres would also be a plus but not essential
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially GCP, would be a strong plus
• Curiosity about AI tools and an interest in building agents, using RAGs and working with MCP servers
• Interest in working in the marketing analytics sector and a willingness to learn the fundamentals of techniques such as Marketing Mix Modelling to help ground the solutions that you will be building
• You are highly driven, dedicated, and have a keen sense of personal responsibility, and are happy working independently and as part of a team on projects and solutions
• Ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders is a must
