About the Role
In the Junior IT Buyer role, your responsibility is to make sure all your fellow Monks can keep on creating their awesome work. You will do this as part of a global team which specialises in supporting our colleagues and making sure hardware/ software is provided where needed. Additionally, our ideal candidate is a fast and flexible go-getter who jumps on new opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Together with the Global IT support + Procurement team you will be responsible for delivering remote support across the globe and specifically in the EMEA region.
- Your responsibilities include purchasing and following procurement processes to grant access to the right tools and hardware.
- You will contribute to making sure that your colleagues across the globe can collaborate to craft cool stuff for the leading agencies and brands.
About You
The essentials:
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support or buying.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal (English).
- Excellent knowledge of ticketing systems with a preference for Freshservice.
- You can provide application support for all kinds of software packages and are familiar with plugins, patches and drivers.
- A real team player but at the same time able to work independently.
- Constantly exploring new IT territories, you’re so eager to learn on the job we don’t even have to tell you.
- IT Hardware and Software finance knowledge.
Not a must, but a plus:
- Experience with Google Workspace, JAMF Pro, Intune and Snipe-IT.
- Experience as an IT hero or Buying Star in a similar company.
