About the Role

As VP, Head of Production & AI Solutions, you will own the full spectrum of our production ecosystem, from high-volume digital content at scale to bespoke video shoots and AI productions, ensuring excellence, efficiency, and innovation across every output.

You’ll lead our global team of producers and project managers, guiding them through large-scale delivery, operational transformation, and the integration of AI-driven workflows. Equal parts strategist, consultant and executor, you’ll architect systems that enable creativity at scale while ensuring budgets, resources, and client expectations are consistently met.

This role is pivotal to shaping the future of production combining traditional craft with cutting-edge AI solutions to deliver faster, smarter, and more impactful work for some of the world’s most influential brands.

Key Responsibilities

Production Leadership

You are responsible for delivery excellence on this account; process, people, tools.
Lead and mentor all producers and project managers across the studio, setting clear standards of excellence and accountability.
Oversee end-to-end production across multiple formats: digital assets, video shoots, campaigns, and always-on content at scale.
Ensure every project is delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest creative and production quality.
Create and maintain production playbooks and ways of working that streamline operations while leaving space for creative flexibility.

AI-Enabled Content at Scale

Drive the integration of AI-enabled production methodologies, ensuring scalability without compromising quality.
Partner with technical and creative teams to adopt tools that automate, accelerate, and enhance content production.
Lead innovation initiatives that future-proof studio capabilities, balancing speed, cost-efficiency, and creative impact.
Translate lessons from retrospectives, RCAs, and client feedback into updated processes and AI-assisted workflows.

Operational & Financial Oversight

Together with the client lead, you are responsible for the cost-side of the team; maintaining and improving margins, weighing investments, ensuring funding.
Own studio-wide budgets, forecasting, and monthly burn reporting; ensure financial discipline across all production streams.
Manage resourcing, contracting, and staffing models to keep teams agile and responsive to changing client needs.
Oversee KPI tracking, executive-level reporting, and health metrics for both content delivery and operational performance.

Client & Program Leadership

Serve as a trusted partner to senior client stakeholders, guiding them through production scaling, change management, and AI transformation.
Design and adapt solutions to evolving client needs around efficiency, workflows, and creative operations.
Build strategic, long-term relationships that grow the account and position the studio as an innovation partner.
Lead workshops, strategic presentations, and client education around production and AI capabilities.

Culture & Leadership

Foster a collaborative, inclusive culture that empowers teams to deliver their best work.
Champion a growth mindset, encouraging curiosity and innovation while upholding accountability and rigor.
Act as a change leader, inspiring confidence and clarity through periods of transformation and growth.

About You

Minimum of 15 years in production and leadership, spanning both content at scale and large-format shoots.
Proven success leading global producer and project management teams.
Strong background in digital marketing, advertising, or media production, ideally with top-tier tech or consumer clients.
Demonstrated expertise in AI-driven production and a strong curiosity for emerging technologies.
Excellent client management and communication skills, with the ability to inspire trust and alignment at the executive level.
Solid financial acumen: experience with budgets, margins, and resource planning.
Comfortable balancing strategic vision with hands-on problem solving.
PMP or other program management certification is a plus.

Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

Salary Range: $165,000—$190,000 USD
