About the Role
Our Art Director - Social role requires someone to partner with a writer in developing culturally relevant content and event coverage for a major telco brand. They must be fluent in pop culture and socially savvy, comfortable working under fast timelines and managing a large number of deliverables. Strong problem-solving skills are essential. The role is less about developing big campaign ideas and more about crafting specific executions that bring large IRL events to life on the phone screen.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to take and interpret creative briefs.
- Present creative ideas and concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Develop style proposals and mockups to initiate new projects and pitches.
- Elevate design quality through collaboration, bringing storytelling to life via motion and interactive elements.
- Ensure designs align with client expectations while pushing creative boundaries.
About You
The essentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
- Portfolios must show social first concepts and campaigns
- Must work PT hours
- Fluent in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Aftereffects, and Premier Pro
- 3+ years of experience in advertising design or art direction, with a strong portfolio demonstrating relevant work.
- Familiarity with emerging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, MidJourney) and their application in creative contexts.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their visual communication codes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and clients.
Not a must, but a plus:
- Live event experience/production
- Love of entertainment and/or sports
