Senior Technical Program Manager

Location: Fully remote from Brazil

About the Role

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you’ll serve as the connective tissue between strategy and execution for three cross-functional software development teams. You’ll optimize delivery processes, align engineering output with product priorities, and balance high-level roadmaps with detailed execution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the execution lifecycle for three cross-functional software development teams
  • Align engineering deliverables with product requirements, priorities, and roadmaps
  • Identify, track, and mitigate cross-team risks, blockers, and dependencies
  • Schedule and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and demos
  • Use retrospectives and delivery metrics to improve team velocity, quality, and predictability
  • Own JIRA board configuration, workflows, automation, reporting, and data hygiene
  • Develop standardized dashboards, burndown charts, velocity reports, and work-in-progress tracking
  • Lead the triage of incoming bugs and feature requests, ensuring timely evaluation and routing
  • Partner with Product Managers to prioritize and maintain actionable, high-value backlogs
  • Translate technical progress, risks, and dependencies into clear stakeholder updates
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project health, resource allocation, and delivery timelines
  • Define, document, standardize, and enforce delivery and governance processes across teams
  • Support SOC 2 Type I and Type II compliance through effective process controls and governance documentation
  • Other duties as assigned

About You

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, technical project management, or software development
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing multiple software engineering teams simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and the technical fluency to engage effectively with engineers
  • Advanced expertise in JIRA and Confluence, including custom workflows, JQL, automation, dashboards, and reporting
  • Deep experience applying and standardizing Scrum, Kanban, or Scrumban practices across multiple teams
  • Proven experience with SOC 2 Type I and Type II compliance and governance documentation
  • Ability to distinguish technical challenges from process-related blockers
  • Demonstrated ability to define, document, implement, and enforce scalable processes
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, risk-management, and communication skills
  • Strong social intelligence and the ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders without direct authority
